Marriage Equality

Posts tagged Marriage Equality cover my support for the right of same-sex couples to marry. My position is straightforward: another person’s marriage is no threat to mine, and the sexuality of a stranger is simply none of my concern.

I came to this view the same way I try to come to all my views, by examining the actual arguments rather than accepting inherited assumptions. Once you do, the objections fall apart, and what remains is a simple question of equal treatment.
