Loss and Grief

Posts tagged Loss and Grief deal with death, mourning, and the long process of carrying on after losing someone. I have lost people who mattered to me deeply, including my wife Claudia and good friends, and I write about grief because pretending it away helps no one.

Grief is not a problem to be solved or a stage to be completed. It is something you learn to carry. These posts are honest about that, without the tidy resolutions that grief writing so often reaches for and that real loss rarely provides.

If you have lost someone, you may find familiar territory here. I write about it plainly, because that is the only way I know to write about it truthfully.
