Who Needs Prejudice and Racism?
How I learned that we're all people regardless of skin color, culture, race, religion, and other characteristics.
Posts tagged Photography come from my second life as a working photographer, which began after my wife died in 2005. I picked up a camera, and over the years that followed I shot hundreds of thousands of frames across Renaissance faires, the bellydance community, national parks, and more.
Photography saved me, in a real sense. It gave me a reason to leave the house and a way to see the world again after loss. It became both a craft and a discipline, and it taught me to pay attention.
These posts cover the work, the experience of shooting, and what a camera taught me about looking closely at the world.
